Hello, tankers!
After receiving information about a possible error in the star counting process for the previous phase, we conducted an audit of the calculations. We have discovered that right before the phase ended, a large sum of stars had been credited from a technical account issued to a content creator.
We provide such accounts to YouTubers who generate a large number of views on their videos, allowing them to showcase new equipment and skins, and otherwise enhance their content. This account has access to all equipment and a large amount of in-game currency.
The YouTuber Jumper, who had access to such an account, used its capabilities to vote in the “War” event, which is an unacceptable and irresponsible violation of our agreements.
In connection to this, we have taken the following measures:
- We are revoking Jumper’s access to the technical account for an extended period and will temporarily restrict his access to other privileges of the partner program.
The actions of this YouTuber affected the results of 2 out of 5 turns, in which he purchased stars and directed them to aid his faction. In the other three cases, his actions did not affect the final outcomes.
We understand that as a result of these actions, one of the factions gained an advantage, and we would like to rectify the situation. However, after weighing all the pros and cons, we believe that the most optimal solution in this situation is not to interfere with the course of the game due to the complexity of the consequences.
To prevent this from happening again, we have already made changes to the logic of the event website. From now on, technical accounts cannot influence events in any way.
Thank you for your understanding.
