The most anticipated holiday of the year is finally here — New Year comes to Tanki Online!
The time of wonders will begin after server restart tomorrow, at 02:00 UTC December 22nd, and will stay until 02:00 UTC January 8th!
Be ready for the most grandiose celebration of the year, we’ve prepared so many gifts and surprises for you! Here’s what will happen in the game:
Holiday decorations
This holiday season, play Tanki and look out for special Garage decorations, New Year themed Gold Boxes and drop zones, parachutes, flags, billboards and even bushes will glitter with the frosty magic all holidays.
Of course, New Year will have special holiday gifts too! Send them with merry wishes to your friends in Tanki!
Each of us will be able to join the festive mood with a special holiday paint, available only on New Year. During the holiday celebrations, you will be able to purchase the paint inside the special bundle, and it will stay in your Garage forever.
Special offers
From 02:00 UTC on December 24th until 02:00 UTC on January 8th you will find 2 special offers in the Shop, and one of them will have a new animated paint!
Special offer №1 — 59.90 USD:
- new animated paint;
- 5 days of Premium;
- 5 Gold Boxes;
- 500 of each supply (excluding Gold Boxes);
- 25.000 crystals.
Special offer №2 — 15.99 USD:
- special holiday paint;
- 3 days of Premium;
- 3 Gold Boxes;
- 100 of each supply (excluding Gold Boxes);
- 100.000 crystals.
Holiday Map
From 02:00 UTC December 22nd until 02:00 UTC January 8th join the festive celebrations around the holiday tree in DM mode! You can play on the holiday map by pressing “Play” in the Lobby or by picking an already created map from the Battle List.
Daily Missions
During New Year event all daily missions will be replaced with holiday missions, which are harder, but also have bigger rewards! Don’t miss the fun!
NOTE: all holiday missions will be removed from the game at 02:00 UTC January 8th, make sure you claim all rewards before that date, or they will be gone!
Double Battle Funds
From 02:00 UTC December 30th until 02:00 UTC December 31st and from 02:00 UTC January 6th until 02:00 UTC January 7th you will earn Double Battle Funds in all regular, non-PRO battles! Crush your enemies and get double the crystals for every finished battle during these two days!
Gold Boxes
Welcome New Year with friends in Tanki Online and on December 31st, for 1 day only Gold Boxes will drop 10 times more often on the holiday map! Don’t forget, the number of crystals in Gold Boxes will be the same — 1000 crystals.
Containers
And the most desired holiday items — containers — will drop for all tankers who play in regular, non-PRO battles from 02:00 UTC December 24th until 02:00 UTC January 8th. Gold Boxes will continue to drop as usual, but sometimes, a Black Box will drop instead and have a container inside! So if you hear that special siren, it means your chance for unique rare paints, Premium, crystal packs, supplies and Gold Boxes will drop soon!
Starting 02:00 UTC December 24th you can purchase containers in the Shop, under the special “Containers” tab. After the holiday event containers will stay in the game. Forever!
All purchased or caught containers will appear in the “Special” tab of your Garage, where you can open them.
Opening the container, you will get one of the following items, chosen randomly:
- 3500 crystals;
- 10.000 crystals;
- 25.000 crystals;
- 125 Repair Kits;
- 125 Double Armor;
- 125 Double Damage;
- 125 Speed Boosts;
- 125 Mines;
- 100 of All Supplies (excluding Gold Boxes);
- 250 of All Supplies (excluding Gold Boxes);
- 3 days of Premium;
- 10 days of Premium;
- 5 Gold Boxes;
- 10 Gold Boxes;
- one of the paints, available for purchase in the Garage*;
- one of the paints, available for purchase in the Shop* (including paints, previously available inside Special offers);
- one of the legendary paints* (new animated paint «Holiday Lights», «Spectrum», «Flow», «Nightmare», «Moonwalker», «Eternity» or «Red Suit»).

Containers will be available for purchase in packs under the «Containers» tab in the Shop:
- 1 container: 1.49 USD;
- 3 containers: 4.29 USD;
- 10 containers: 13.99 USD;
- 25 containers: 29.99 USD;
- 50 containers: 54.99 USD;
- 100 containers: 99.99 USD.
Sales
And, of course, no holiday is complete without discounts! This time you will see sales in the Shop and in the Garage.
Discounts in the Shop
From 02:00 UTC December 23rd until 02:00 December 24th most of the items in the Shop will have discounts from 20% to 50%.
Discounts apply to packs of crystals, Premium (except 1 day of Premium), Gold Boxes (except 1 Gold Box), paints and kits, including the supplies kit.
NOTE: Discounts in the Shop do not include special offers, clan license and Rename Pass.
Discounts in the Garage
From 02:00 UTC December 22nd until 02:00 UTC January 1st you can upgrade your Garage with big savings! On different days you will see different discounts on equipment, and you can find the full calendar of discounts under the spoiler on the Forum.
NOTE: Discounts in the Garage do not apply to the Supplies Kit, purchasing and upgrading XT-equipment.

We’re also preparing the annual quest «GAME», and registrations will open January 3rd.
