Tankmen creativity 10

10 July, 2012
Hey Tankmen! Many of us enjoy using the firebird from time to time and here is one of our fellow tankmen “chriswu” who shared his experiences in making a home made firebird. Take note that you should not try to repeat this without the assistance of an adult.

It’s my pleasure to be able to share my passions for tinkering, hacking (NO! Not tanki! Only old electronics ), and building things. Today I’m going to show you how to build a cheap, DIY (Do-It-Yourself) flamethrower!
Play this full screen in HD (trust me 🙂 )

**Note** If you want to try to build a flamethrower yourself, be sure you really know what you’re doing!!
Aerosol cans, when exposed directly to extreme heat have been known to explode! Never aim the flamethrower towards the ground, as flames will rise upwards, get into the nozzle of the can, and ignite the pressurized butane within. Be EXTREMELY cautious! I am not liable, nor is tanki, for any accidents you may encounter, as there shouldn’t be any if you act safely and take appropriate measures. Douse the paper toweling THOROUGHLY in a bucket of water after use. Never aim at flammable surfaces, unless intentionally blowing up trolls :).

Have fun, and act safely!
